“It’s absolute foolishness and downright insane to pray to a god you cannot see and expect to get an answer from a book! It’s reckless to randomly open an archaic book and expect some unseen force to speak to you and then make life decisions.” – Most People. (some Christians too)
I can testify that God desires the kind of faith that believes He is real, and He actively waits for that exact moment to speak to His children out of the random things to bring glory to Himself and show the world that He is the one true living God.
‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’
Jeremiah 33:3
Call me crazy but watch Him bless me for taking Him at His Word.
Here’s an idea. Pray about any circumstance in your life and ask for comfort or guidance or strength or healing. Then, trust Him and open His Word. After you read, praise Him for who He is and What He is doing today and tomorrow.
Acknowledge what good you have as His blessings and wait for more.
